Today's tip is a bit of an odd one out, but it's something that bugs me - and might be irritating you.

Are you tired of being tracked online? Fed up with cookies? OK, you could use a browser such as DuckDuckGo, but why not do a private search?

Here's how:

  1. Open your favourite browser. (I know this works in Edge and Chrome.)
  2. Press CTRL + SHIFT + N. (CTRL + N's big brother.)

You might not like the black screen, but I bet you will love the privacy!

Oh, and don't worry ... all your Favourites and Bookmarks are still there.
