As the pandemic put an end to face-to-face training I took my sessions online and developed a series of 60-minute webinars, making it easy to fit around busy schedules. Like so many others I haven't been in an office since February last year and I really miss the banter and chats in the kitchenette and the interaction with delegates in the training room.
As I feel nonverbal communication is very important during training I encourage people to keep their cameras on (CTRL + SHIFT + O). But did you spot you can also express your emotions using the new Teams Meeting Live Reactions, such as Like, Heart, Applause, Laugh and Raise hand? That said, it can be a bit of a faff to hover over its button (third from the left in the meeting controls in the right-hand corner) and wait for the flyout. So if all you want to do is quickly raise your hand or respond to a question such as "Can I see a show of hands how many of you miss working in an office" why not use a shortcut instead.
Here's how:
Anyone who raised their hand will have a hand next to their name. And everyone in the meeting will see that you've got your hand up.
