The main objective of this half-day Intermediate course is to expand your knowledge of PowerPoint and equip you with the skills needed to create polished, professional presentations. Using data from other applications

  • adding a Microsoft Excel chart to a slide

Creating an organisation chart

  • setting up and reformatting an organisation chart
  • additional SmartArt options

Working with shapes

  • stacking and changing the level of a shape
  • grouping, aligning and connecting shapes
  • applying a transparent fill colour to a shape

Including sounds and movies in a presentation

  • inserting a sound or movie clip into a slide
  • playing a sound clip and movie clip in a slide show

Intermediate slide show techniques

  • branching to a specific slide in a slide show
  • adding timing and animation effects to slides
  • creating a custom slide show

Working with other PowerPoint users

  • including comments in a presentation
  • finalizing a presentation
  • distributing a presentation for review
