Finding cells that have data restrictions (Microsoft Excel)

In Microsoft Excel you can search the worksheet for every cell that has data validation applied.

Here's how:

  1. Click anywhere on the worksheet.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Go To.
  3. Click Special.
  4. Click Data validation.
  5. Click All.

To see what the data restrictions are for a cell, click the cell, and then click Validation on the Data menu or check the drop-down list.
