quickly change to double-space lines in a document (Microsoft Word)

Especially for those of you who think there is nothing more hilarious than me not knowing simple shortcuts, today's tip is another great keyboard shortcut for increasing and decreasing the line spacing of paragraphs in a document. (With special thanks to Joanne Jarrett and Pat Nixon.)

Here's how:

  1. Select the text you want to change. (Or press CTRL+A to select the entire document.)
  2. Press CTRL+2 for double-spacing. (Or CTRL+5 for 1.5)

To revert back to single line spacing simply press CTRL+1.

Until next week.
