adding a company logo to every slide (Microsoft PowerPoint)

Did you know ...

that instead of placing your company logo on every single slide, you can have it appear automatically on every slide in your presentation?

Here is how:

  1. Go to the View menu, point to Master and then click Slide Master (This is also the place to set up standard footers, like your company name, your font, size, and "slide colour scheme" so you might want to customise it here.)
  2. Add the logo to the slide master (by either copying and pasting it or by choosing Picture>From File from the Insert menu)
  3. Click the Close button on the Master View toolbar to return to your slide

When you plan to use this format often you can create your own custom template.

Here is how:

  1. Go to the File menu and select Save As
  2. Select Design Template from the Save as type box
  3. Give your new template a name in the File name box and click Save
  4. To use your new template go to the File menu and select New
  5. Find the template and double click to open it

Until next week.
