Send replies to your email message to another address (Microsoft Outlook)Selamat pagi, buon giorno, dobro jutro, goedemorgen, bheannaigh sé dom, g'day, howdy, good morning ... It's been a time of delivering training abroad with a range of nationalities present, so I thought I'd start today's tip with a great website I recently found, listing how to say "good morning" in 109 languages: http://www.rogerdarlington.co.uk/Goodmorning.html. (If you cannot find your own language, you can even email the page owner!) During these trips I often have to switch identities, so to speak, and send email messages from the email server the client uses. Most of the times, however, I want the reply to come to my own email address. I do that using Microsoft Outlook's function for specifying a Reply-To address. This feature can be manually applied in case by case situations, and can also be useful if you want replies to go to your colleague who deals with any replies, rather than yourself. Here's how:
By the way, life seems to be less hectic as from next week, so skipping my weekly tip like last week (sorry!) shouldn't happen. So, to end on a similar note as we started: tot volgende week! Or rather ... Until next week. |
