Tip of the week # 425

Preview and flip through your open windows - part II (Windows 7)

Hope you've all fallen in love with AeroFlip 3D? (Check out tip_419.php if you don't have a clue what I'm talking about.) If you have, you've probably been overshooting your desired window at some point. OK, you can press SHIFT + WIN + TAB to cycle the other way, but that might be one shortcut too many! (I love the way the Germans refer to a three finger keyboard shortcut as a monkey grip - "Affengriff" - also known as the Vulcan neck pinch.) So check out what you can do with your mouse wheel!

Here's how:

  1. Press WIN + TAB to display a stack of all your open windows.
  2. Keep your finger on the WIN key and use your mouse wheel to cycle forward or backward.
  3. Release the WIN key.
