Ditch the filofax and show the calendar by default (Outlook 2003-2007)

As you are no doubt aware Outlook can be used for much more than just sending and receiving email messages. If you use Outlook to schedule appointments, events and meetings you might want to open the calendar by default when you start Outlook.

Here's how:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Other tab.
  3. Click the Advanced Options button.
  4. Click the Browse button and click on Calendar.
  5. Click OK (a couple of times ;)

By the way, you can use this same procedure to start Microsoft Outlook showing your Contacts or Tasks or any specific folder.

Until next week.
