Seven steps to prevent death by PowerPoint

Clear, persuasive communication - between individuals, within teams, among departments, to clients - is a vital part of any successful organisation. Use a simple seven-step program to create professional PowerPoint presentations that will keep your audience through the length of your talk:

  1. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
  2. Focus on content
  3. Understand colour impact
  4. Keep it simple
  5. Select the right style
  6. Use charts appropriately
  7. When to say no to PowerPoint

In just half a day you will discover how to:

  • create a "flow" that will hold viewers' attention using more advanced slide show techniques
  • give your presentation a consistent look with the right formatting tricks
  • add visual interest in order to reach your audience
  • share data from other applications such as Word and Excel
  • save time by learning numerous tips and shortcuts
